Delhi- Ahmedabad Bullet Train to pass massively through Udaipur

Udaipur, India (Metro Rail Today): Delhi - Ahmedabad bullet train will pass through several parts of Rajasthan and massively from Udaipur. Delhi - Ahmedabad bullet train will run at the speed of 350km per hour to make the journey of only 3 hours. The National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd officials gave a presentation on the ambitious project to Udaipur District Collector Chetan Deora and discussed it in detail.

75 per cent of the total 875 km long track of Delhi-Ahmedabad bullet train project which is 657 km track, will be in Rajasthan. The track will pass over 5 Rivers and 7 District. The Districts are Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur and Dungarpur. This proposed stations in Rajasthan will be built at Behror, Shahjahanpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Vijaynagar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, and Dungarpur.

Udaipur district will have a total of 127 km of the track and 9 stations to be built.

An Official said
due to technical reasons related to safety in train operation, the entire track will be made differently. To give concrete shape to this project, a survey of the entire track will be done by helicopter and on the basis of this survey, a detailed project report will be prepared.

The track will be elevated on pillars and eight tunnels of less than one kilometer distance will also be constructed in Udaipur district. This will be on the ground. This will help minimizing issue of land acquisition. The project will be implemented on the ground after approval of Detailed Project Report (DPR)

When the project will complete, it will be India's second high-speed rail line. It is also said to be an extension of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Line.
