3 firms participate in bidding process of Indore Metro package IN-02



Indore, India (Metro Rail Today):  In a recent move, three construction firms have submitted bids to build 7 elevated stations between ISBT/MR10 Flyover and Radisson Square on Indore Metro’s 33.53 km Yellow Line. It was revealed today after Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation opened technical bids.

The viaduct connecting these 7 stations of Indore Metro’s Phase 1 project is currently under construction by Dilip Buildcon at an excruciating slow pace since 2018. This first section of the project along with others will eventually form a ring line around Indore city connecting Palasia – Railway Station – Rajwara- Airport – Bhawarsala via 30 elevated stations according to different sources.

The estimated cost of the bid is Rs. 369 crore with a deadline of 847 days. The Indore Metro is going to be a major project in Madhya Pradesh.

The bidders are as follows:-

     1. Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL)

      2. URC Construction (URCC)

       3. YFC Projects

This name of the tender is Tender No 200/MPMRCL/2021/Package IN-02 and the name of the package is IN-02. It is a key tender in this metro project.

Scope of the work includes Design and Construction of Seven (7) Elevated Metro Rail Stations including Viaduct portion within the stations and Transition spans on either side of the stations, Entry-Exit Structures, Architectural Finishes, E&M Works etc. (ISBT/MR10 Flyover, Chandragupta Square, Hira Nagar, Bapat Square, Meghdoot Garden, Vijay Nagar Square & Radisson Square) of Indore Metro Rail Project.
